This month’s meetup involves a trip to the ‘flicks’. That’s right; we’re heading to the cinema. Many of you are no doubt aware of Armando Iannucci’s political satire ‘In the Loop’? It’s a rather savage insight into the world of political spin and has some of the best swearing I’ve ever heard in my life.
Here’s a review and trailer to whet your appetite a bit
Details are as follows:
Location: Curzon Cinema (Soho), 99 Shaftesbury Avenue, London W1D 5DY
Closest tube: Piccadilly Circus / Covent Garden
Time: Wednesday 13th May. Arrive: 6.30pm (quick drink) Film starts: 6.50pm.
Please organise your own tickets.
Or via the telephone booking line: 0871 703 3988
The film has been screening for a few weeks. Even if you don’t book upfront, I’d be surprised if you can’t get a ticket on the door.
